Engagement session - $375
Engagement sessions are always included with our wedding packages. However, for those working with another photographer or who simply want to share the news with loved ones, this is a fun and affordable way to commemorate one of life's great moments.
Often used in announcements or save the date cards, engagement photos are an outstanding way to take advantage of that memorable location that just can't fit into the big day--the park bench where he proposed, a quiet spot along a stream in the woods or the front porch steps of your family's country farmhouse. Wherever you end up, this photography session is for you to explore everything that's special about the earliest moments of your new life together.
Engagement session packages include 36, 3.5 X5" paper proofs, one 8x10 pint matted to 11x14 and a CD of all proofs for future ordering. You are also provided with a print-ready digital proof to send to area newspapers for their wedding announcement sections.
Bridal portraits - $475
A longstanding tradition, the bridal portrait is one of the most treasured moments for new brides. And it's a perfect opportunity to try on the dress one last time or see how your up-do will last the day.
With Katie Hamister Photography, you can shoot a formal, above-the-mantle centerpiece or an artistic, on-location testament to your individuality. This is your chance to showcase your elegance and capture forever everything there is about being a bride. It's just you and your moment.
We can schedule this shoot well in advance to ensure all dress alterations have been completed and are ready for the altar. Many brides choose to have this session done about two weeks before their wedding and it can be shot just about anywhere.
The bridal portrait session includes an online gallery, 36, 3.5 X5" paper proofs, one 11x14 print matted to 16x20 and CD of all proofs. And like the engagement photo, you can send a digital file of your choice to area newspapers.
Trash the Dress
You spent months looking for the perfect wedding dress. And when you found it, it became sacred, stored in a box, rarely seeing the light of day. But what about after the wedding? Will it sit in your attic? End up on Craigslist? Well here's an idea ...
Let's get trashy.
"Trash the Dress" photo sessions have become wildly popular--and for good reason. Uninhibited and completely different from any other shot you'll have of yourself in your dress, brides are celebrating the day after, one-year anniversaries or even their honeymoon, by testing the boundaries of how you can act in a wedding dress.
While not meant to literally damage the dress, this photo session finds brides rolling in the ocean break, walking through the woods or just shooting in locations you never would have dreamed of taking your dress prior to your wedding.
Above all else, this photo session is about you being you ... while wearing your wedding dress. |
